Richard Zeckhauser (Harvard Kennedy School) as the keynote speaker for the 2014 SBCA Annual Conference and Meeting. Zeckhauser pioneered the field of policy analysis and developed many concepts that are integral to the conduct of benefit-cost analysis today.

Preconference professional development workshops will be held on March 12 from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the George Washington University Marvin Center in Washington, D.C., on the following topics:
- Using Expert Elicitation to Inform Decisionmaking
- Developing Teaching Cases using Recent Congressional Budget Office Reports
- Conducting Regulatory Benefit-Cost Analysis
- Using Discrete Choice Experiments to Predict Effectiveness and Health Benefits
The Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis (SBCA) is an international group
of practitioners, academics and others who are working to improve the
theory and application of the tools of benefit-cost analysis.
